Pink Grapefruit and Peach Sangria - With a Twist!
Updated: Jun 10
Sangria is one of the easiest and most delightful ways to serve up cocktails for a crowd. And this one is sure to have your friends and guests smiling!

I believe there are over a million sangria recipes available today. Now I didn't personally count, but I think I'm pretty close. And really, any time you take your favorite wine(s) - yes, you can mix wines - plus a fortifier (liquor, brandy or other fortified wine), sugar, fruit, and if you're really fancy, a sparkling water or wine, you have sangria. The sky is the limit.
The secret ingredient in this recipe is what makes this such a hit! You'll be surprised when you see it - and taste it.
Summer sangrias benefit from the delightful variety of delicious, ripe fruits to include, making the color and the taste literally pop. Now this recipe has something extra I tried this spring, and I'm in LOVE with its effervescent profile and bright flavor. What is it? You'll have to read on to find out!
This is your must-try cocktail THIS WEEKEND!
Pink Grapefruit and Peach Sangria
Ingredients (makes approx 8 - 10 cocktails)
1 bottle (750 mL) light Rosé wine
2 cups pink grapefruit juice
1/2 cup citrus or pink grapefruit vodka
1/4 to 1/2 c peach puree (more for a sweeter cocktail)
1 pink grapefruit, thinly sliced
2 - 3 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
2 cans (12 ozs) Rhinegeist Grapefruit Bubbles Vacation Blent - secret ingredient!
Garnish: Sage leaves and/or rosemary sprigs for serving
Mix it Up
Add the wine, pink grapefruit juice, vodka, peach puree, fruit slices to a large pitcher or drink dispenser. (Do NOT add the Grapefruit Bubbles in this step.)
Mix gently and place the container in the refrigerator for 4 - 6 hours.
When ready to serve, remove from the refrigerator and ADD the Grapefruit Bubbles; ladle into serving glasses or wine glasses over ice.
Garnish with a sage leaf or rosemary sprig prior to serving.
Get ready for a citrusy burst of flavor!
Note: if you don't have Rhinegeist Vacation Bubbles in your market, substitute 2 small bottles (187 mL) of LaMarca or other light-finishing prosecco.
