I'm a huge fan of pink grapefruit in cocktails. It's refreshing, adds bright color, and always brings the flavor. This one is a classic you've got to keep in your entertaining rotation!

This cocktail is one of those drinks guests sometimes forget about. But when you offer to mix one up, there's always a reaction of delight. That effervescent combination of pink grapefruit, tequila and pink grapefruit soda just hits the spot.
Buy a bag of pink grapefruits when you're at the store. You'll be making plenty of these!
Not all recipes call for actual pink grapefruit juice, but it's something I add to punch up the citrusy flavor. The other benefit to the Paloma is that it's a nice alternative to a margarita. Not quite as tart, but so refreshing.
Enjoy this one - it's a treat!
The Paloma

4 oz Tequila (recommend using silver/white)
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2 oz freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
6 oz grapefruit soda, to top (chill beforehand)
Garnish: salt or tajin (to rim), lime wheel or small sliver of pink grapefruit
Mix it Up
Rim your highball glasses with lime juice and then the salt or tajin (this step is optional, but recommended).
Add ice to your highball or cocktail glasses.
Add all drink ingredients to the glasses; mix well with a cocktail spoon.
Add the lime wheel or grapefruit slice.
Time for a fiesta!
